Filippo Mutani (born 1971) started professional photography in 2006, after the Accademia D’Arte Drammatica Silvio D’Amico in Rome, a degree in law in Turin, the Publitalia ’80 Master in Communication in Milan, and more than ten years working in advertising. He moved his first steps in photography with Antonin Kratochvil and Alex Majoli. In 2006 he was awarded the third price from La Sterpaia of Oliviero Toscani, with a long term project on the coasts of Italy. In 2007, he shot the Pirelli Re social advertising campaign and joined Grazia Neri agency. In 2008 he’s been finalist at the New York Photo Festival. In 2009 he became official photographer for Getty Images. His main interest are people, which he believes are such things as dreams are made of.

Nel 2006 ha vinto il terzo premio del La Sterpaia di Oliviero Toscani, con un progetto a lungo termine sulle coste italiane. Nel 2007, ha realizzato la campagna Pirelli Re ed è entrato a far parte dell'Agenzia Grazia Neri.Nel 2008 è stato finalista del New York Photo Festival. Nel 2009 diventa fotografo ufficile per Getty Images. I suoi interessi principali sono le persone, che lui considera come cose di cui i sogni sono fatti.
